After serving in the Navy for 20 years as an Intelligence Specialist and as a ship's photographer during her last deployment, Erin decided to bring quality photography at affordable prices to families in and around the Hampton Roads area. She opted to start her own photography business and that is how her business has become "Timeless Memories by Erin".
As the economy fluctuates she understands the need for high quality photography at affordable prices in locations of your choice instead of a studio where you?re worried about getting the right shot and how much it is going to cost instead of really enjoying the moment. While at a location that you choose you are more comfortable, your children are more likely to enjoy themselves and that will show through the photos that are taken. The same tactic applies towards pets as well. When it comes to formal photography, Erin has plenty of experience from formal military ceremonies to family reunions and weddings, she had photographed almost 500,000 photos in the last five years alone.
Erin Smith has been an amateur photographer for 10 years and while she was stationed onboard USS Mustin (DDG 89) she was the ship's photographer. While onboard she took over 250,000 photos to include personnel portraits, candid photos as well as a large number of military events for a deployment cruise book. She attended Intel Photography Course attaining a certification in photography. She has also attained her Wedding Photography and Planning Certificate from Univeralclass.com. Her photos have been published in the USS Mustin (DDG 89) 2003 Commissioning Book, 2005 Cruise book, the USS Mustin website as well as on MSNBC.com in photos of the week for May 12-19 2005.

Completed UniversalClass Online Wedding Planning and photography course, awarded Certificate of Outstanding Achievement. Sherrod Smith

Sherrod hails from Detroit, Michigan is currently serving on Active Duty in the Navy. Sherrod and Erin have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful boys. Sherrod is an amateur photographer who brings an artistic and edgy side to photography. Occasionally Sherrod will shoot small jobs on location when Erin is unavailable or will perform videography while Erin is shooting larger events.
